How to Activate 4G Hotspot Bundles
Activating a 4G Hotspot bundle automatically via Internet Easyload
Recharging Telenor 4G hotspot and activating a bundle involves a few simple steps:
- Note down your Data SIM number at the time of purchase of 4G hotspot
- Choose the Bundle you wish to activate
- Ask the Retailer to recharge your Data SIM through Internet Easyload with the exact price of the chosen Bundle
- Your chosen bundle will be activated automatically upon recharge and you will receive a confirmation SMS
Using Self-Service to activate 4G hotspot bundles:
If you wish to activate a 4G bundle through self-service, you can do it by the following 2 methods
1) Activating a 4G bundle via Hotspot interface
Step 1: Recharge your Data SIM
You can recharge through the following ways:
- Note down your Data SIM number at the time of purchase of 4G hotspot. Visit any Telenor Service Centre/Franchise or Retailer and request for normal recharge (easy load)
- Buy a Telenor scratch card and enter the 14 digit card code on the ‘Recharge tab’ in the 4G hotspot home page. You can access the homepage by connecting your 4G hotspot to a laptop/PC and opening the homepage which will automatically open (Enter 192.168.8.1 or usermenu.com in the web browser to open it yourself)
Step 2: Activate 4G Hotspot bundle
For self-service, you can activate any Telenor 4G hotspot bundle by following these steps after recharge via Normal load
- Connect you 4G hotspot device with your laptop/PC
- Enter password (security key) written inside the cover of the device
- 4G Hotspot webpage will open automatically (Enter 192.168.8.1 or usermenu.com on web browser to open it yourself)
- Click on ‘Bundles’ tab on the 4G hotspot homepage
- Click on the Bundle you wish to activate
- You will receive a confirmation message on your Data SIM after successful activation. You can view the notification in the ‘SMS’ tab on the home page
For your convenience and ease, we have made bundle activation automatic on the first recharge through normal load. All you have to do is recharge with the price of the bundle and your chosen bundle will be activated automatically without any further action required by you
2) Activating a 4G bundle via String dial
You can also activate any Telenor 4G hotspot bundle by following these steps after recharge via Normal recharge:
- Connect you 4G hotspot device with your laptop/PC
- Enter password (security key) written on the inside of the device
- 4G Hotspot webpage will open automatically (Enter 192.168.8.1 or usermenu.com on web browser to open it yourself)
- Click on ‘Recharge’ tab on the 4G hotspot homepage
- Click on the ‘Special offers’ inside the ‘Recharge’ tab
- Enter the below activation code strings of the package you wish to activate and press send
- You will receive a confirmation message on your Data SIM after successful activation. You can view the notification in the ‘SMS’ tab on the home page
